The Way, The Truth and The Life Christian Center, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Pastor Ulysses Tuff and has since become one of the leading charismatic churches in the metro Atlanta area.

 

The vision of The Way, The Truth and The Life Christian Center, Inc. is to identify, train and support believers as leaders to carry the ministry of the local church into the world. We will provide them with a place to encounter God in worship and encouragement.

APOSTLE ULYSSES TUFF

Apostle Ulysses Tuff is the pastor and founder of The Way, The Truth and The Life Christian Center (TWTLCC), Inc. in Decatur, Georgia. He was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and later went on to attend Morehouse College earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education. While attending Morehouse, he met his wife Deborah and was later hired as a teacher at D.H. Stanton Elementary School.

 

Apostle Tuff was ordained as a pastor in 1982. After receiving a mandate from God to preach the gospel around the world, he left his job as a teacher at D.H. Stanton and decided to pastor full-time. He established TWTLCC in his home and also set his sight overseas. His first missions trip came in 1987 to Nigeria, which further ignited his passion to share "The Gospel" with various people groups.

 

In 1999, Apostle Tuff established AUT, Inc. and the AUT ministerial association which provides apostolic guidance and oversight to more than 600 local, national, and international churches in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, Great Britain, Moscow, Ukraine, Belarus, Haiti, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Republic of Latvia.  He also founded The Giver of Life Mission School and the NAEYC accredited Giver of Life Christian Academy which provides quality education to children.

 

Noted as intellectual man of letter and scripture, this true statesmen and end time prophet has been recognized as an extraordinary teacher and advisor. Apostle Tuff’s practical biblical teaching is seen and heard through television and radio broadcasts. In addition, he is a noted author and has published Spirit-Filled Wedding and Dreams: Did You Hear God Speaking? His book, The Magna Carta of Child Rearing, is based on his experiences raising five children with his wife Deborah.   

His dedication to prayer, family, church, and the word of God is shown in every aspect of his life. He is regularly honored for his continued service to the call and work of Christ.

 

In addition to earning a Master of Education from Georgia State University and Master of Divinity from Logos Bible College and Graduate School, in 2011, Apostle Tuff was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College. In 2015, he received the Kingdom Trailblazer Award, the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to over 40 years of humanitarian and philanthropic work locally and abroad.

 

For years, supernatural wonders have been the character of Apostle Tuff’s ministry.  He is a devoted husband of 50+ years to Pastor Deborah Tuff. They lovingly produced five adult children (one deceased), eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. They are also regarded as spiritual parents to ministries throughout the body of Christ.

PASTOR DEBORAH TUFF

Pastor Deborah W. Tuff is an anointed woman of God, devoted wife, and mother, educator, and philanthropist. Pastor Tuff delightfully delves into the enlightenment of others by spreading the unadulterated Word of the Lord. She is not only faithful in her commitment to God, but also in her commitment to serving others.
 
In 1982, Pastor Tuff left BellSouth (formerly Southern Bell) to focus her attention on assisting her husband with the demands of establishing The Way, The Truth, and The Life Christian Center. She has since dedicated her service and talents to many areas. Her creativity and passion for excellence in ministry are evident in the high standards of performance she maintains. As a consummate business manager, Pastor Tuff oversees and guides all fiscal requirements for the church.
 
Pastor Deborah is the visionary leader of the Diadem Women's Ministry, established to provide encouragement to women, giving insight towards an intimate relationship with Christ and teaching them to walk with dignity and beauty as daughters of Zion.
 
Pastor Tuff is an educator who has taught locally and abroad.  In 1999, she was the co-founder and director of the NAEYC accredited Giver of Life Christian Academy. Due to her philanthropic endeavors abroad, she has schools named in her honor in Monrovia, Liberia West Africa, Datal, Bago Philippines, and Zona Maya, Mexico.
 
Pastor Tuff is a committed minister of God’s Word and a devoted helpmate to her husband. Under the Apostolic covering of Apostle Ulysses Tuff, they have traveled to the Republic of Latvia, Zona Maya Mexico, Lagos Nigeria, Kyiv Ukraine, London England, Minsk Belarus, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti continuing in their service to the call and work of Christ.
 

Pastor Tuff is a native of Atlanta, GA, and holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Morris  Brown College and an honorary Ph.D. in Evangelism and Church Growth from the Great Achievers University College and Seminary in Spain. In 2015, she received the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to over 40 years of humanitarian and philanthropic work locally and abroad.

 

Apostle Ulysses and Pastor Deborah Tuff have been married 50+ years and are the parents of five adult children (one deceased), eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
